It is no secret that one of the best parts about being a live-in girlfriend is being able to shop your boyfriend's closet whenever you want without them being able to get mad. You know I'm right.
For one, there are few women in this world who have as solid of a t-shirt collection as a guy does. (And for those girls who do, you're awesome and I'm jealous)
But seriously, particularly since having Roman, I have found myself going through Alec's side of the closet more and more. I feel like my reasoning is obvious and totally acceptable: my postpartum body is far from what I would like it to be. Don't get me wrong, I still wear my own, fitted clothes often, but a lot of times to feel comfortable I find myself going for a looser boy-look or grabbing my waist cincher to put on underneath something tighter. (Let me tell you, it is way too effing hot for that right now.)
I will be the first to admit that I am one lucky duck when it comes to stealing my man's clothes. For one, I fit into his stuff pretty well, it's obviously still big on me but it doesn't swallow me whole. Secondly, Alec understands. He's still gonna get cranky with me if I steal his favorite shirt to go to work out in, but for the most part he has no qualm with me borrowing from him. As a matter of fact, the look I'm wearing was partially styled by him. I was planning on wearing another one of his cut off sweatshirts, but he pulled this one out because it was a thinner material, so not as hot or bulky, and had these awesome zipper details!
Teamwork makes the dream work, guys.
