How reinsert glasses glass lens in the Framework?
My lens right out of my frame of glasses, along with the screw (I was able to find the screw). Anyway I am having difficulty trying to reinsert the lens. I can not seem to properly align the lens with the edges of the frame. Lens is thick, cause I think have Astigmastism.
There should be a ridge around the outer edge of the lens, it must conform to the groove around the inside edge framework, alignment is difficult because the metal structure type is still displayed normally elastic and also to try to get the goal back in may try putting something like a pin in the two screw holes so that it protrudes about 1 / 2 inches on each side, then take a rubberband and wrap it several times around between the axle and frame to help hold the frame ends together but it lets you push a little as the wedge of the lens in place. Now slide the lens and the work your way around the edge and get the slot aligned all the way around. Once in the correct position, the two metal things that the screw should be very close each other. At this point, hold the frame securely around the lens, Pull The Pin and remove the rubber band (if not to fly on their own) get the screw in small hole and running before the mess is rolled back. Note: You may delete the screw thread and that's why we came out in the first place. If this is the case, sometimes can make a temporary repair by running a piece of wire through the screw holes, bending and twisting around to hold everything together, cut off excess and carefully fold the twisted part.
