Buy a Classic Vintage Camper
Campers from the 40's, 50's and 60's considered vintage. They are classics and provoke feelings of a time elapsed. Many people choose to buy a vintage model for the appearance and quality. Not only do they provide comfortable and convenient camping facilities, but they are also easily and inexpensively to maintain.
Vintage campers can easily be found online. There are several sites that specialize in selling and restoring these campers. There are also clubs dedicated to the restoration and use of these campers. People who use these types of trailers make it to a variety of reasons. Some people like the classic look, while some want an economic way to camp in comfort. Others have no desire to use them for practical purposes and just enjoy the restoration process.
The most popular vintage trailer is air flow. They began producing them in 1932 out of wood and then changed to aluminum models, are widely recognizable. Vintage campers can often be towed of smaller vehicles. It is not because they are lighter weight, but because of the aerodynamic design and weight distribution it allows it to be towed by larger ease.
Buy a vintage motor home can be a lot of fun, but you should do plenty of research before deciding on one. Unless you are an experienced buyer, it is best to buy a camper in as good a condition as possible. Run down campers can take a lot of work to restore and can often times be more frustrating than you want. Ongoing work will increase the amount of time without use, and will also cost more money. When a person gets some experience they can then proceed to more advanced work. But it is better to start small.
Before buying a vintage motor home, think about why you want it and what it's for. This will determine the model and size camper you need. Examine the interior and exterior to determine condition. Some wear is expected and dents can be found on the outside. But it should still be in relatively good shape. Ask the seller to demonstrate plumbing and refrigeration to ensure no leaks. Check the floors to determine whether they are permanent or there may be rotten. Tires must be in suitable condition for minimum drag it to where it will be stored under less repairs.
After buying a vintage trailer, be sure to have it fully insured. Owning a classic piece of Americana can be a very rewarding experience. It may also be a practical way to enjoy retro camping. If you like classic vehicles, this is a great opportunity to spend time restoring and having a great conversation piece for the leave.

If you buy classic / vintage cars?
Regarding the purchase of a / vintage classic cars to run around a weekend. What you buy / recommend £ 5,000 limit
If you think about it seriously, I advise you to buy some magazines old cars, as standard practice or Classic Car week to get an idea of prices, spare parts upside down, etc. You do not tell you are waiting to do their own maintenance and welding or if you are looking to buy something you can just walk and drive. Personally my favorites in This price band would be things like the Rover P5B, Triumph Dolomite, Riley RME or perhaps something different, like a BMW 2002, Volvo Amazon and Saab 96. There embarrassment of choice, make sure that what you get, you get the best you can buy a car from the wrong setting will always be more expensive than buying a very good for first place.
